multivitamins?

some do, some dont. You choose the brand that best meets your needs, which will depend on age, gendre and type of chameleon, type of prey, gutloading, lighting, etc

Popular brands, with their ingredients, are listed here:

info about supplementing:

I use rep-cal plain calcium, and sticky tongues mineral-O, rep-cal with D3, rep-cal herptivite, and recently one animal is getting (as a test) the new Repashy all in one. I feel using a variety of insects that are carefully gutloaded reduces the need to provide much supplementation.
You can see specifically what prey I use, how I gutload and how I supplement in this blog:

Yes the are, I use exo terra calcium D3
on Monday's to Fridays and then multi
Vitamins saterday and Sunday.

I use Repashy Calcium Plus as an all in one supplement every day (at least 6 days). But otherwise Reptivite with D3 or without is a good option. That is if we are talking about a panther. I like sticky tongues calc, however not all chams like the flavor.

from what ive heard from other members, your supposed to substitue with calcium w/o d3 everyday, and have with d3 and a multi 2x a month...will a multi with d3 take care of that? i heard someone say once a week they alternate between with d3 and a multi. what would be best for a 6 m old jackson's?

A vitamin and phosphourous free plain calcium has traditionally been used most often, with D3 and other vitamins used less frequently, yes. New products are giving us more choices though.

again, how often and how much also depends on the BRAND of supplement (some are far more potent with D3 than others, for example) and all the other factors listed above. I encourage you to read the info in the second link I provided.

Jacksons seem to do better with LESS supplementation than vieleds or panthers.
