Multiple females?

Hi,

I saw 4-5 fully grown females in a 4 tall x4 long x 2 wide ft enclosure and they all seemed to be doing well. Would they have any problems laying eggs if housed with other females??

I wouldn't do it..... give them all their own room, you know how girls can be about sharing

Living in pairs?

I went to the pet shop yesterday as i was driving back from town with my new 1 year old vield chameleon and i also got his reptarium and supplies for $200 canadian as im obiviously canadian eh!!! LOL anyways im getting 2 baby ones but they dont know if they are male or female yet but they stated that 2 females can live together in the right amount of space but if they are males they need their own cages!! Is this true as im interested in getting a them since i have a 260 gallon reptarium on the way.

These are veileds? If they are, you can sex them by looking at the spurs on the rear feet. If one has a bump, its a male, if there is no bump it is a female.

As for the cage. You could still use that care by dividing it in have with a visual barrier. Make it so the male can't get around the barrier. You could pin in some cloth or plastic with safety pins. I would not house two chams together unless you have TONS of room. they like to be alone.
