Anyone know whats going on with these guys?
Can't order online and the number listed isn't working either.

I think because of the weather they had a shortage.. or worse, they lost all their bugs.

I had a problem logging on too! The problem for me was internet explorer I switched to google Chrome and it worked fine!
Tornedos in southern Cali???

It's been pretty stormy on and off out here for the last couple weeks. As for Mulberry... I was getting ready to place an order so I hope there is nothing wrong.

Yeah even in Arizona (we're east of Cali) we've had stormy weather even for a desert! I would think it has to do with the weather. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

I just placed an order and they called me back within an hour to ask if I wanted it shipped tonight. I can't imagine a smoother quicker online transaction!

Mulberry has been slammed with orders, and is scrambling to fill them. Your problems reaching them are solved now, contact them again. Here is some Feeder info:

Mulberry Farms is offering silkworms and hornworms in small quantities only. The die off on the large batches of silkworms has moved them to decrease their batch size, thereby the large quantities are "out of stock." The hornworms also are being limited in how many cups you can purchase, the need is surpasing their supply. 100 happy small order customers, or 4 happy large order customers......their choice makes sense to supply the most number of customers they can with a limited supply.

The good news is Georgia Bugs is growing siks and horns. Great Lakes Hornworms are growing the horns, AND you can buy eggs from them too. The eggs run about 20 cents apiece with shipping, and must be hatched out immediately-you can not refrigerate them to hatch later. If my math is right, by the time you buy a cup/lid, the food, the climbing grating in the cup, the eggs, and the shipping, you aren't far from Great Lakes retail price. Now if you live by a mulberry tree with leaves......eggs might make sense! Very possible that we will continue to see more need than supply on silks and horns for a while at least, my guess is untill summer.

Butterworms are just in, (Mullberry imports the Peruvian Butters), and prices have increased slightly. Supply is good now, they just came off the boat, and they keep so long in the refrigerator. It might be good to buy them now, while they are available. I have kept them 3 months with little die-off.
Hope this info helps.:D

Now, if those BRITTS would just supply us with locusts!!!!!

Do you order from them a lot?

Mulberry is a great place for bugs, I have used them in the past with great results. I was actually on there 3 days ago trying to get some horns and the add button would not add them to the cart so I gave up. Ill try back on monday. As for the California weather...... Its colder then a witches titty!! I has been raining pretty bad the past 2 weeks and making a mess of things.

I looked them up, but i compared them to Dave and went with Dave. I know Mulberry offers variety more so than Dave, but for my needs, I just stick with Dave. Ordered and shipped within 2 days and better pricing for my needs. But I guess the West coast might want someone closer to them..

Summoner,

I have in the past, I supply a pet shop and it cover what i use myself for my 6 Chams. I just got 4,000 butterworms!!
