I have a Meller chameleon that is in great shape overall. She (I think it's a female) eats every days, has a great hydratation (eyes are big and round) and everything but I am concerned about her urates.
I have her since this last July and they always had been like this.
The thing just is covered in a massive amount of mucus every times. I've brought her to the vet two weeks ago and they checked both her poop and urate. They didn't find anything abnormal.
She eats crickets in general that are gut loaded on carrots, pears, blueberries, apples and salad. I apply D3 calcium 3-4 times a week and multivitamins once a week.
The vet said she is fine but my other chameleon really didn't have urate like that.
I don't understand the orange part either. The vet said she was perfectly hydrated.
Should I be concerned?
