Mucousy Stool

Hello, my year old veiled chameleon has been having pretty mucousy stool where the calcium deposit would be. I'm worried perhaps I am over dusting his food and that may be why? He has a heat lamp, UV light, and a running fountain to drink from with throughout the day. I dust his food with regular CA daily and then D3 every other week. I'm hoping someone else may have this with their veiled and that it is an easy fix.

Also I'm not sure if my veiled is male or female, could these be slugs?

Veiled chameleons don't lay slugs as such...they produce (white) infertile eggs if not mated.

Thank you for the link, it helped ease my mind a bit, I think I’ll bump up the misting sand see if the urates clear up. Sadly I lost her back in July.
