I’m moving in a couple of months and I’d like to plan ahead for moving my cham. I’ve read a few threads and I’m not sure what I should do for a long-ish distance. It will be about a 45 minute drive, but then there is also the time I will take to take down and re set up his enclosure. Should I make a temporary enclosure out of a pop up hamper or something or can I just use a box with a stick and some holes?

Your fine with a box... I would push through a stick for him to grip on. They will just fall asleep. Just make sure that the top is sealed so he does not try to push his way out the top. the drive will be fine just make sure the car is not too hot or too cold. and then set up the enclosure on the otherside and get him in.
