I built a custom enclosure out of a piece of furniture in my house, it's a 7' tall wooden entertainment enclosure that was used to hold electronics, etc. I spent weeks sealing the enclosure, making sure it was water tight and everything
Today I noticed some of the MDF board it's made out of is starting to expand, and I am having drainage issues, so I think it's time to built a new enclosure.
My male veiled Ziggy is about 6-7 months old now, would moving him to a new enclosure be very stressful?
My plan is to build a larger enclosure, and put more effort into the design for the drainage and interior. I plan on building an enlsorue that is 3' X 4' X 2', so the front would be 3ft wide, 24" from the wall, and 4ft tall. I know it's a little larger than the standard 24x24x48 but I think having it a bit wider would great for him, more room to move around.
So basically I am just trying to figure out if that's the best option for me, or if it's too large, and if it will stress him out too much to move him.
Thanks.
