Moving to a bigger enclosure

I am going to be moving my 7 month old female panther into a bigger cage today. I have never handled her and she is very skittish. I was thinking about setting up her old cage in front of the new with vines so she can climb into the new one on her own terms. Does this sound like a good plan?

To much hassle, just put your hand underneath her and losen her grip so shes on your hand and put her in the new enclosure. Job done

Don't you think that will be too stressful for her since she has never been handled? And coupled with a brand new cage? I think that is a lot

Most likely if you have never handled her she probably will not just majically accept your hand. She may even try to bite you. I mean I would not worry so much about the stress, it is not going to kill her. I think your other plan sounds good. You do what you feel comfortable with.

If she'll climb on her plant you can take her out that way. I rarely mess with our male Ringo but when he climbs on his plant I can easily get him out of his cage and onto my hand.
