Moving Enclosures

Hi! So today I decided I wanted to move Yoshi, my veiled chameleon into a new enclosure. I have all the proper lighting, a new schefflera, branches and a perch for him. I was wondering if it would cause him any stress to be in a different enclosure because he is used to his older/smaller one?

Yes it will cause stress but you should definitely still go ahead with the upgrade. The stress will be temporary and there is nothing wrong with that. It is the constant low grade stress that drags on day after day that weakens them...

I'm sure the stress will be minor especially if the new cage is in the same place as the old one and you keep the rest of his routine the same. He might go dark or hide for a day or two but it shouldn't last long.
