Inglourious Basterds review:

Good story line, typical Quentin Tarantino movie... very startling at some points. My general feel for the movie was neutral.

Too many people died for my liking, too much blood, too many of my favorite people died too soon and without enough fight. Too much of the "history" was changed.

A bit too gorey for my tastes, but was pretty funny at times. Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, and Daniel Bruhl were good actors, as well as Christoph Waltz, Waltz gave the movie it's whole feel.

Also, the movie was a bit prolonged, and could have had more filler, had a Family Guy type theme to it with the random movie bits played when something is remembered.

Not for children under the age of 13, that's for sure.

All in all I give the movie a 6.5/10..

I agree with your assessment, but I liked the movie more than you. So I gave it an 8 out of 10. I am usually a fan of Tarantino's movies.

Thanks! Anyone else have a review they'd like to share?

Aliens in the Attic? Ponyo?

what about Harry Potter and the half blood prince

I personally think it was amazing but found the beginning and middle a bit boring towards the end was the best i think. 4 stars is what i give and remember this is my personal opinion no one jump on me :)

As for my opinion on Harry Potter, I didn't like it at all. It was more directed towards lovey-dovey teens, those unlike myself..

Too much love, not enough ACTION! I think I already posted my review of that on another thread.

Exactly that was what i meant by in the beginning and middle boring lol but then the action of killing dumbledore kicked in *sighs* :p

I think this past Harry Potter set up the next two films beautifully. However, in the book the final scene was huge. In the movie.......not so much. Definitely a little slow and boring but it told the story very well. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

i saw the word borign ;p glad you enjoyed it i did to but it had its times

Agreed, it did set up the next two movies quite well.. but did they need to charge us $12 to do so? :(

Naturally. Not to mention a gallon of gas will probably cost as much as a movie.. LOL

Hopefully you are not a popcorn eater......cause that movie just went up to $45 for 2 tix, popcorn and your favorite beverage.

I bring stuff in from home to the movies. :) Not big on popcorn. Gets stuck in my teeth.

good thinking. We do the same. Usually some small package of cookies or pretzels.

What's the next good movie coming out?

Inglorious Basterds: pretty good movie, i liked the scene where it was like "HUGO SPITGIZ" and it had the metal in the background :D

Harry Potter: i think it was definetly the worst of all of the movies, and i literally wanted my money back after i saw the ending

LOL No joke, there was some weird but funny parts.

But srsly liek wtf. Harry Potter could have been more directed towards the more mature members of the world.
