Mouth rot???

I am concerned with a mouth injury on my panther. He has had this now for a while. It looks much better than it did a month ago, but after seeing a discussion on here about mouth rot I took a closer look today and snapped a few pictures.I don't like how the gum line has a green look to it as the other side of his mouth is nice and white. Any comments would be appreciated. I have also contacted a vet that deals with exotic pets and will probably be bringing him over there in a few days.
Here are a few photos...

Yeah, that doesn't look good. It definitely looks irritated. I think a vet visit is a good idea.

Yeah I don't like how it's green...bringing him ASAP.

He is still behaving fine. Eats, drinks and still has his Kung Foo grip with his claws :p

My chameleon had the beginnings of mouth rot when I took him to the vet and they gave us a clear liquid to apply first to clean the area and then a cream to apply afterwards. I must say that even after one application, the next day we did see an improvement in that aspect of his treatment. We did lose Karma in the end but for different reasons...as stated above, the vet can definitely help you with that. My vet said it could be caused due to too much moisture...I hope your cham will be ok. :)
