moulting baby veil

I have just received a boy baby veil, born march 10 ! He is eating well! I did notice that he has moulted a layer of skin !! Is this OK ???
Can I leave my red light on all night and white light on for 12 hers ??

Shedding skin is common and totally normal. It means he is being fed well and is growing.

I advise against the night light (red light) because they need full darkness in order to sleep. It messes up their sleep pattern when they are shown a light source at night and will not get the energy they need.

You will need a heat bulb and a UVB bulb, not just 1 white light. And yes for 12 hrs a day

They are supposed to shed, thats how they grow.

WHo sold you a baby that hatched less than a month ago?

Babies shouldnt be sold or shipped before 3 months old minimum.

You shoudl ahve two bulbs during the day, a UVB bulb and a basking bulb.

I will get basking build on sat once stores open as after easter !"" How old does chester need to be before I can change up his diet ??? And I got a wee ficus for him to eat and climb on !!

He can eat any bug as long as its the right size.

no bigger than the space between his eyes.
