moths

Moths are usually acceptable, if you're worried I'd breed them when you catch them so the offspring are 100% to your liking. I feed my Senegal moths as treats rather than buy other things, he doesn't like worms.
 
as long as they are moths and not butterflies its fine. if your worried about pesticides keep the moths for 24hrs before you feed, by that time if it had pesticides on it they would have done the job already and killed it.
 
Yes, moths are safe. However they dont offer much in the way of nutrition (they are high in fat content)
Chameleons do love them though :)

I catch a couple moths about once a week, and feed them off to my cham. Maybe not great for him, but its a nice treat, I like to think it keeps him from going on hunger strikes, and he def seems like the type of cham who would do that. He always has a look in his eyes that says, i am up to something mom!
