i don't do snakes so I'm not sure, but they get some crazy and unique colors, and I have been told they tend to be larger in size than pure locales. don't quote me on that.

u basically take a sanke with a cool pattern and cross it with a snake with a cool colour and you get the colour and pattern hopefulllyon the new snake, which you can breed into multiple combinations which fetch for pwards of 75 thousand :)

ill look into it, im in no rush

just watched a video of a mitsio, crikey theyre nice

what sort of prices do they go for? id want a male for the colour and size im guessing

panthers dont have genetics like the snakes. I would go ambilobe because it has the most variety of colour. What are your favourite colours and then people will suggest more!

The nicest one I've seen was on Screameleons but idk about availability or prices. I think they're pretty high. Especially for the red lips and red eyes and bright yellow/green bodies.

Panthers in the Uk from what I have seen are roughly anything from 130-200, and for a sub adult/adult might be more, and rare locales etc,

There are some really nice locales here Imo, plenty to choose from,

My little guy is a red and blue barred Ambanja. There is an album of him on my profile page if you want to see his colours. He has gone through many many phases, right now he is in yellow.... from green...from blue/white.
Nosy Mitsio, Ambanja, Ambilobe, Sambava, Nosy Be...you have so many fun choices ahead of you!!
Good luck!!

Crosses can produce some beautiful animals and some not so vibrant animals. They are only good as pets, not breeders. Chameleons don't have morphs like snakes. The genetics aren't as defined and are closer to crested gecko style breeding. The only morph there is, I believe is the translucent morph in veiled chameleons.

I like east coast locales myself. Tamatave, Sambava, maros, etc. They range from duller reds, pinks, greens, grays, and juvenile blues while at rest to brilliant white, all shades of red, orange, yellow, black, juvenile blue, and both dark and light green. They make me drool. My prized Sambava male is green and pink with blue, grey, white, and sometimes purple bars at rest. When he fires up, he turns completely yellow and/or orange with white, black, red, black-green, black-blue, black-red bars. He can be any combination of those colors at any time when he is at rest, in between rest and fired up, and when fired up.

If you can find a nosy mitsio in the Uk. Thats what I'd go with. Ive had ambanjas, falys, etc... The mitsio locale is the most stunning Ive ever seen. My male at rest is a vibrant lime green with red eyes and red vertical bars on his flanks. When fired up he turns bright yellow with red eyes and red lips with black bars on his turrets. Its a sight to see. Mitsio for the win!
