are cool as hell arent we awesome?! how cool and interesting is our hobby?! hehehe... any of you have any stories to tell about ppl asking you what do you do for fun...etc.. basically bringing up our hobby, i always get ppl with it! they're are always like...huh, whats that? then i get to tell them about em and all or "oooh cool, those lizards that change colors?"

im not too open with sharing thr whole breeding roaches though LOL neither any other sorts of bugs!!

Yeah, we are very cool. I have to share this, I work in a pharmacy and one day there was a huge fly on the counter. (this was when it was starting to get cold out and they were coming indoors) Anyway, a trainee saw it and said Eww or something to that effect. I calmly grabbed a pill bottle and caught it and put in my pocket. You should have seen the look on her face!!! Priceless! She chilled when I explained, but man, that was fun!

When i was on my way to the Daytona reptile show, we stopped at a service plaza and there was this huge field with grasshoppers so i took 3 bottles and field them up They survived all the way home after the show.


Back on topic;we are pretty awesome

LOL i kept a moth in my pocket a school once!

When i was really little i put spiders in a tic tac container... For some reason everyone did it... our teachers freaked out though!!

I remember doing that a few times lol, Today I got a few looks in the park as everyone is doing the normal things people do like, playing football, running, rollerblading, then theres me swooshing through the grass with a net, catching grasshoppers putting them in a cooler

Oh that SO rings a bell.

Id like to think Im kewl, but really Im not. Weird is probably a more common description others use to describe a middle aged woman who enjoys lizards, frogs, roaches and other assorted pets.
