Mossy enclosure?

I'm planning on getting some pygmys or dwarfs and came across this. I'm wondering if anyone has tried growing moss walls on the inside of a screen cage or glass enclosure. Thoughts?

Edit: Just realized there's a whole section of pygmy enclosures. Maybe a Mod can move this thread for me -=)

thats a pretty neat trick they did on that link.. no idea how good it will work, though. I keep lots of dart frog vivaria and the main issues with growing moss come from 1. light, and 2. moisture. I think it would be almost impossible for moss to grow in an all screen enclosure, as it needs to be constantly wet.. which would also not be good for the chameleons in the cage. Also, many chameleon lighting systems do not put the necessary amount of light out to grow moss in areas of a screen cage that would maintain this high level of humidity ( closer to the bottom). Even in glass enclosures, some people have serious issues keep mosses alive. I can only speak for myself, but I have found that moss generally grows best in my tanks that are getting 7500+ K lighting. It is an awesome thought, but moss isn't really suited for airy chameleon enclosures.

I'd agree with this. Pygmies won't want that intense level of lighting. Moss seems so cool, but its a lot of work and there are other plants that work better for their setups available.

Busted bubble. -=( I may try to set something up before I actually get some chameleons in there. Who knows, something might work out. I'll keep you all posted if it does.
