Morning Shower

Phineas decided to stand up and turn full face into his shower this morning. He's never done that before. He usually turns so I spray from behind him. He spent the entire 20 minutes like this. I was worried because I didn't want the water going up his nose. I managed to get a few seconds of poor video before I dropped the phone, sprayer, etc. I cut that part out of the video. . . And of course got the stink eye for interrupting the shower. Not to worry - I finished the shower before I cleaned up the mess.

Get just the video number. Then put it in like it is below. DON'T PUT IN THE QUOTES! I had to add them so a video wouldn't pop up.

Of course, replace "your video number" with whatever youtube tells you your number is! It's just the number that you put in there - not www. Or youtube, etc.

Yea, well, he doesn't like misting too much - but he LOVES showers! Of course I discovered this after I bought a MistKing. . .

I put Picasso in his tree this morning and put that in the shower with nice warm water, turned the nozzle to the side of the shower so just a little mist would cover him and all he did was try to find a way off that tree....he didn't like that not one bit....guess I just need to keep trying.

Oh, Phineas would never go into the actual shower! He would be way too upset. I shower him when he is in his own territory in his free range. I stand on a step ladder above him with my Round-up pump sprayer (from Lowes). I fill it with 85* to 95* water. Maybe you could try that.

Oh, and I always start to shower at his tail so it doesn't surprise him - and work my way up his body if he is comfortable with the temperature.

I liked how happy Phineas looked in his shower. I think I will try that with Lenny. I chase his green butt all over his free range and make a complete mess. He licks leaves after the mistking shuts off but will not stay under it.
