Same here, all chameleons. Lights go on a half hour before they get misted, then feeding. Babies get attention first. THEN I clean all of the feeder cages-yuckie!
you could do the misting before the lights starts and then before the lights go out.... one of my freinds only use a dripping system and is only misting once a week.... they both look super and he just got the first egg´s from the female a few days ago...
My mist system goes off for 15 or 20 minutes shortly after the sun comes up but before my UV and basking lights come on. Why not mimic nature as best we can?!?
I turn on lights first......to warm up the cage. Then when my little guy wakes up, he has a warm cage to get in. Then I feed him and give him 30 minutes or so to eat and then fill the dripper and mist. If I drip and mist before the food it seems to wet and kill some of the crickets.
