morioworms

Yes, in the US, we call them super worms, or giant mealworms.
They are very high in fat, and can cause constipation if you feed too many.
So reserve them as occasional treats.

thank you for the response there sold as giant meal worms or morioworms also giving one once a every 2 weeks a a snack that should be ok then ? if i could add a picture i would

can i feed morioworms to my panther chameleons ? :)

yes, these can be part of a varied diet.

What the USA call superworms and Canada call Kingworms are Zophobas morio which look like big mealworms Tenebrio molitor

mealworms can also form a small part of a varied diet.

giant mealworms are growth enhanced mealworms, and should be avoided IMHO

No- that will kill them.

Supers don't turn into beetles unless isolated from other supers, so you have many months of worms as long as they remain together in the same tub.

Like mealworms, can you keep supers in the fridge to prevent them from turning into beetles??

I keep them on oats, and others keep them in bran, at room temperature. They eat either, you just need a water source, I use water crystals.
