Maybe you should 'gently' put him back in his cage or he may creep into your room and savage you while you sleep, lol!:D:D:D JK! My two have been asleep for almost an hour - lights go out at 7.45pm at the mo, but in a few weeks I will lengthen their daylight hours to coincide with whats going on outside.

Seriously though, if you learn their warning signs and signals (eg pissed off colours, dark spots, hissing, gaping, etc) and respect that then you most likely won't be on his lunch menu!

His cage is in my bedroom!! Right next to my bed  Now im worried!

Dennis doesnt like going to sleep too early, they go off at 9:30pm and that seems to suit him. He gets in a right strop if they come on before 9am too  He's like me, not a morning person!

Are the angry colours the brown/grey ones? Thats the colour he goes when he's attacking the camera. And the gaping i know well, this is him telling the camera off:

Yup! Those will be his 'Get that THING outta my face NOW'! colours, lol!:D

Even though Amy can be a bit huffy, she has never attempted to bite anyone. I think they do get used to you handling them. Tommy's brother lives that the shop I get my bugs from and he is just as sociable! I'm sure Dennis will be fine, even if he does go through a hissy 'leave me alone' stage. Just remember that chams are easily bribed with food!;)

Dennis wouldnt bite me, he loves me! Just put him in his cage, i accidentally woke him up and he didnt get at all grumpy, bless him!

I dont know why he hates the camera so much, he has right from a baby, he gets really nasty if i try to get too close with it when taking a picture!

from what ive seen and heard almost every chameleon has this problem with cameras. either its the reflection they see in the lens or its just the scariest thing they've ever seen. the real answer ill probably never know.

dennis is sweet! i like the yellows; mine glows like that when hes sleeping, not so much as yours is when he is awake.:) from a sire like that you should expect some really crazy colors when he grows up.
