Monty is doing so well!

Monty (my young male Xanth) has just turned 11 months old and is continuing to do really well! For a couple of months he was stuck at 27g and he went through an odd couple of weeks where he wouldn't eat much and was hiding all the time - he even reverted to hiding behind a branch when I looked at him. :( This was quite distressing for me since he has always been a friendly boy, eager to come out of his cage. It really wasn't like him at all to hide from everything all day. Thankfully, that phase has passed and his appetite has picked up again. I weighed him today and he is now up to 33g - last week he was 31g!

Could I ask other owners of young Xanth males if this is about right? How much (roughly) should he weigh as an adult?

Tiff I have no memory of what they weight as adults. If someone doesn't post it I will check my records. I can tell you that what ever Monty weights is completely perfect. I know that because Monty is perfect. If anyone needs to know I am completely objective:rolleyes: about Monty, he just happens to be an angel.

Wow i never noticed how weightless jax were. My panther is 8 months and 109 grams:eek:. But No matter what his weight is, MONTY IS DA BEST:D

Thanks! Jacksons grow a lot slower than Panthers and Veileds. What he lacks in size he makes up for in cutenesss and charm! :D
