Monsoon Water Flooding Problem

I have the exoterra open air cage and a monsoon mister. The mister works fine but I can't seem to control the flooding situation does anyone have any solutions for flooding? Please don't suggest a different system I don't think the shstem is the problem, no matter what I used to mist besides a spray can this would happen.

How is it flooding? Is it misting out the screen or flooding the bottom of the enclosure?

How much vegatation/plants do you have in there? How long are you misting, and how often.

You need to come up with a drainage solution. There is a thread in the enclosure area about drainage.

I was sort of hoping I wouldn't have to put in drainage in mine, but looking at this I'm having second thoughts. How long and how often is it activated?

I have mine set up so the spray goes into his plants and then the water will drain down into the dirt the plants are potted in. I lined the bottom of the cage with a piece of heavy plastic and put it up the sides of the cage so as to make a waterproof bottom. The plastic only goes up about six inches on each side. The problem I am having is that the only setting that works is once a day for 120 seconds. Any other setting will make it mist to the point the reservoir empties in a day or two! I am actually waiting to hear back from the manufacturer so hopefully it will get replaced. I put my dripper back up so Omar has constant access to water.
