So I went to check on the eggs and they have mold on them but they still looked ok. I was wondering if anything was going on since they were laid the first of May so I decided to candle one. I lightly brushed the mold off the one egg (I hope this wasnt a bad idea) before I candled it and it came off rather easily. Once I candled it I nocticed all of the blood islets. It was completely pink and I could see what seemed to be an embryo taking up oh around 1/4 of the egg. I have been crossing my fingers since the begining that these eggs hatch. I havent found really much info on them and the incubation besides in the Chameleon Handbook.
Here is the question. I have heard of people putting a foot powder on the eggs when they get moldy. Any certain kind? How much? And can these eggs pull through? The mold is a white color and not covering very much of the egg just the part that is out of the vermiculite. Also it isnt
covering the whole exposed part just kinda dots on them. Sorry I dont have pics and dont have a camera right now.
