I bred my Mitsios today and when I returned he had a serious problem. His sexual organs would not return into his tale. I tried to put it back with no luck very difficult operation.
Went to the vet DR.Greco who had a tough time and he had the tools to do the job. After a half hour of trying he came in and told me that amputation might be my only solution to the problem. I almost lost it and told him thats my breeder and that Mitsios are rare. So after Ice and sugar water and struggling he got it back in and then put a stitch in his vent for good luck. Everything was good until I got home and then it popped out again. Went back to the vet and this time he put three in his vent which I have to remove in 48 hrs. This is a serious situation which time is of the essence, this could and will kill your chameleon if left unattended.
