Mites?

Can chams get mites?
If so what are the symptoms and what do they look like?
I saw my panther rubbing his head on the wood earlier and thought nothing of it but I was just flicking through some photos I took of him and there's a speck on his chin. I can't decide if it's a mite, pigment or but a bit of bark

I'm currently an extremely paranoid new cham owner if you can't tell!

After doing some more research and trying to dislodge whatever it is by gently rubbing with a cotton bud I think I've determined that it could be either pigmentation or a small burn, my UV lamp is way too high an output for the poor fella and I'm currently waiting for my 6% one to arrive. If it's a burn is there anything I can do? Shall I totally turn my UV off to prevent anymore?

I cant be sure but I know Bearded Dragon can get mites so why couldn't Charms? What's that on his chin?

That's what I thought, it doesnt seem to be a mite though. That's the spot I'm talking about, I'm thinking a small burn from his basking spot or just pigmentation, I've noticed sometimes that his red spots will go black when hes basking. :)
