Well it was just a matter of time My mistking timer went out. Came home to a full over flow bucket. Thank god. But ordered a new digital timer any have one? Are they great. Wondering if I should have ordered two since I have 2 different setups

No, still have the old one, working fine. Ooops! just jinxed myself. Will go check and dump the overflow bucket now. Let us know the complexity of the new one. The older ones have a bit of a learning curve.

I have one of the new ones and am considering another as well, they are great! Really simple to transition from the old style, they are wired differently so will only work with a mistking now.

It's not that they WON'T work with other systems, just that MistKing can't guarantee that the systems will be compatible and that the timer will work reliably with outside systems. He doesn't want to deal with it, and I respect that.

I am going to get a new one for my mistking and push my older one to the automated dripper pump I just bought. I think it will work very nicely. @guanagator - can you snap some photos of now the new timer is wired into the mistking system? I think I understand, but I haven't see a clear diagram of this.

Sorry for the delay, ended up being a hectic day. The connector on the right of the image is the old style connection between pump and power, the connectors on the left (blue and black) are where the new timer plugs into the same cords coming off the pump and power adapter. I like the new style significantly more, not just for the digital display but being able to place the controls away from the outlet is very convenient, less crawling around under the table to switch it manual on for the weekly 30min shower.
