Okay I got my mistking setup I also got a 10 micro filter so I don't clog my nozzles do I just put that in line between the bucket and pump or between pump and nozzles?

I didn't think it did but I didn't want to break it and make it a expensive mistake lol. Can I just mount the pump to the bucket lid? And I also got a small aquarium heater that I can set to 75 degrees so the water doesn't get cold because it's winter here and they hate cold water

Keep in mind that a water heater will create warm water (duh) and with that, also comes slime and bacteria. It's almost guaranteed that your water reservoir will develop some kind of bacteria or buildup of some sort. Anyone I've ever talked to who has used an aquarium heater in their water reservoir to warm it has told me that. I was thinking about doing the same thing until I gave it a bit of extensive research. There were people who put the buckets in a pitch black closet with no sun at all, and with the aquarium heater, it still created a thin layer of slime and bacteria. BAD!

If you wanna clean it probably daily or every other day AT LEAST.... then that's your call. But bacteria of any kind is bad, so that's why I personally chose against it for my own setup. In the rain forest they live in, the water isn't heated at it comes down. As rain falls, it is most likely the temperature of the ambient air around it, which is typically 70-80. So as long as your water is room temp at least, then your chameleon may not LOVE it, but he isn't gonna suffer from it either. Just my .02 worth...

Yeah I wasn't to sure about doing it or not I have read that it builds up bacteria. I guess I'll just have to save my electric lol
