Do you guys leave this on throughout the night? I have been, but noticed that sometimes it tends to wake them up.

You really only need to run it during the day. It can mess up the sleep cycle if it is left on all night, and it doesn't have the heat to dry it out like when the basking light(s) are on. So I would have it turned off when the lights go out.

I figured that may be the case, since if you were hand-misting, they wouldn't get misted at night. However, I was (mis?)informed that it's best if the MistKing is run 24/7.

Yes you were absolutely badly mis informed!!!!!!!! The misting should only take place during the day and MUST allow for the cage to completely dry out between mistings as well as dry out before lights out.
Hope this helps!
