I just hooked up my MistKing(AWESOME) a couple weeks ago, in that size cage, if you put more than 1 in there your baby will have to learn how to swim!! lol I was shocked at the amount of water! Best investment I have made to date for Claude!!

You have already had two people tell you 1 for a cage that size. Most people use one per cage in any size of cage. Some use two in a 2x2x4 cage but that's it.

One is more than enough, even for a 24"x24"x24" cage. It sprays out a nice radius of fine mist and it does the job done of getting the whole cage pretty wet if you let it run for a few minutes. I think two is overkill but it might come in handy for very high water demanding species.

i use 2 in 24x24x48 and 1 in my 18x18x30, i dont find they use alot of water, yes the mist is high coverage but very fine..

Distance question

Here is a question I have not seen addressed (unless I did not go back far enough).

Is there a maximum distance that the tubing can be run on the MistKing system? I am going to be getting a MistKing Starter System (I already have a Monsoon in one enclosure, and this will be my comparative experiment). The room that this enclosure is in is across from the third enclosure in our house. However, it would be about 40' run (including 8' vertical). Would the system be able to run BOTH ensclosures with one being close and the other being a distance away (unfortunately, there is no place half way to locate the pump).

I would say no. Not unless you plan on adding alot more cages to that line in the future.

I run tubing all over my house and my AquaZamp system is able to manage the 30-40' runs no issue.
