MistKing Help!!

I am about to purchase a mistking. I have called every one of the sight sponsors (some of them more than once, including Mist King) and have only gotten one person to answer at a store where he did not even know that they carried it. So, if anyone feals like giving me some advice that would be great.

I am going to get the $99 package. I need to know if I will need the optional plus pack. It's got the zip Drip valve and a ball valve....

I am going to run 4 nozzels due to the size of my cage. Should I get them all with the T misting asymbaly?? The options are with a T or with an L. It looks like the T is so you can run another tube out of it to connect the water to the next valve in your system. So.... the L would simply not have the capeability of allowing water to go past it. It would be the last one. Not sure what the point would be though as if there is no tube connected to the other side of the T water would not go anywhere.... Just seems like I am missing some information here. Not sure what.

I'm going to get a couple screen attachment thingies.

Not sure what else I will need with it. Anyone with experiance with the mistking please advise.

Thank you.

The reason I am stressed out about it is because I bought that ambilobe from Panther16. He was kind enough to hold it for me while I get the cage set up. I have been trying for a few days now to talk to a Mistking Salesman and it seems that they do not really exist. I think robots put the box on a convayer belt and post the system to you. :)

I bought the ultimate package because i wanted the extra valves and the screen wedges and what not. I dont use the zip drip. not sure what it dose and dont really need it. when the pump stops, there is virtual no leaking from the nozzles

Ok. So, probably just basic package, screen wedges and extra nozzels. Word. :) I only have one cage, well trying to build it as we speak

Wait! here is what I need to know.... how many cages do you have and did you use all of the stuff that came with that package?

What i did was put two nozzles in the back corner of my cage using the screen wedges. the only things i had left was a third nozzle and the zip drip. i later got a second baby cham and used the third nozzle for his small cage and used the extra screen wedge. still have the zip drip but i basically used everything else. I had to get extra tubing because i had to run the cable 6 ft up. I just order another set of nozzles for my seconds chams big boy cage. The system works really well.

If it helps i can take a picture of my setup and post it later tonight.

Awesome. So if I order the $189 package it will come with everything I need except for the tubing and screen wedges. I'll just order some of those too and be set up. Thanks a bunch.

It should come with tubing. I just needed more becuase of the way i had my cage setup. Also im not sure if the screen wedges are necessary. I just like them because it made it easier to cut a hole in the mesh the cage and gave the nozzle a stable fit.

the t's should come with a "stopper", so you can plug up the other side if you don't want to use it. But it will come in handy at a later date when you get another cham (and you will) just unplug it, rather than the L, cause then you will be running around again.
Im sorry you are having so much trouble.

Have you thought about using the Aquazamp? Kevin's customer service is amazing, fast, made in the USA and is superior to me because of all the above.
Go look in the forums section,(under chameleon supplies) Kevin has a deal going on, I just looked at it.
And his Raindome is cool, it is more like actual rain, as opposed to a fine mist

P.S.
If you live in the So Cal area, come to the meeting(tomorrow) Kevin can probably set you up personally and show you everything you need and how to do it, He is that kind of cool guy

if you get the ultimate, with zip-drip, the line makes a continuos circut, so the T nozzles are necessary.
The zip-drip is not needed for chameleons IMO.
I use it though.

I went with the ultimate, because of extra nozzles, and the ball valve as well.

So, if ultimate: you need 4 T's
If basic: You need three T's and an L.

Im surprised you havent been able toget in contact with anyone at mistking. I called several times and always got through.

Just checked the thread comparing aqua zamp and mist king... Gonna call aqua zamp and see if a live person answers the phone. lol

Honestly, i think tboth systems are a good choice, and they almost seem identical to me. the opnly difference really is if you go with the rain dome. It looks like the rain dome from aqua zamp would work with the mistkinf system so i might give it a go if i get tired of the plain old mist lol.

Yay!, Salty Im telling you, I have both. I must say I like the "rain", so do my chams, seems they drink faster because the drops are rain drops, the mist has to build up a little before they start to pool into drops.

Tell Kevin it was me (anne) if you like about the meeting thing, so if I spoke out of turn he can bend my ear, not yours!.

I'm not sure if there is a show this weekend that they are vending, but even so, I know Kevin will get back to you, He would just be setting up his booth.

I sent you a pm, but if you have any questions, pm me

Sontiger, how do you have all your lights and stuff set up with the rain dome. From what i can tell the thing is about as wide and deep as a large cage. how do you get, for example, your uv light on top of the cage with the raindome?

Edit: just went back to the websiote and read more carefully. they make a rain dome for cages with a top dimesion of 24"x24", dosent say the rain dome is that big.

if you are contacting mistking..contact marty directly..he will answer an email in about 60 minutes..as for aqua zamp they are close to the same thing, i heard marty's nozzels are finer in mist quality as well..not sure tho..and i opted out of the zip drip..it still doesent drip on mine..

Theres no way I could fit one on my cage.
I tried making the one mistking is marketing, but even that is too big:(
I want rain, but I need my lights!
