MistKing confusion!

So, I'm about to set up my MistKing and have a few questions before I potentially mess it up!

1) Do I have to cut the tubing/hose in order to use it to get water from another source? Because I also need to use the hose to attach to the nozzle, how is this supposed to be done?

2) Do I just use a pail/jug of water and put the hose deep in the jug to suck up and eventually spray out that water?

I'm going to test it in my garage before I put it in my enclosure, so let me know!

Also, I've seen the installation of the MistKing - which seems very easy, I'm just worried about screwing something up!

Thanks :)

uh... Kinda...

Their is a piece that your suppose to connect to a bucket, or whatever large container you choose. You'll drill a hole in that bucket, (exact size) then put the part in that hole. Connect the hose to that, going to your mist king, then the rest of the hose going out the other end of the mistking and to your nozzle. THeir are instructions on the website. I suggest reading them.

I'm not sure I understand your first question? But yes, you will need to cut tubing. It'll look a bit like this:

Reservoir ----> Pump------------>cage nozzle, where every "---->" is a length of tubing.

You could just use whatever. I use a huge plastic container that holds something like 15 gallons or more. I just leave the tube so it reaches the bottom over putting the fitting on the side of a bucket like they show in the instructions.

Unless you have the zero drip valve in which case you go from ...

Reservoir -----> Zero drip valve ---->pump---->cage nozzle(insert as many cages as you want here)----->back to Zero drip Valve
