Misting?

I mist 4 times a day 4min, 2 min, 3 min, 2 min. which works for me. My enclosure is one side screened and top screened. Others have luck putting something around the screen enclosure to help keep the humidity up, like a shower curtain. I am sure someone else will chime in.

I put plastic coated freezer paper on the outside of my cages!

I too gave the heated reservoir some serious thought, and decided against it do to all the above mentioned reasons, and also do to the fact the lines already have room temp water in them. The shock of the cool water will be felt no matter how much you heat the water.

My calumma aren't real fond of cool water, why I don't know! And its about 75° in my bucket!

Live plants will help hold humidity, You'll need observe your setup and see what your individual needs are. Whats working for me might not work for you.
