Misting system

So I was thinking about buying a Habba Mist but from everything i've read so far it's a piece of junk. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to build a cheap misting system yourself? I know the expensive misting systems you can buy online are the best but I can't really afford that now so I'm trying to find alternatives. Thanks.

No. I am not out of town alot and I only have one veiled chameleon but I do go to school every day and it would be nice to have a misting system that could mist at least a few times a day

Your pic of Gladys at the dripper didn't come through Brad.

It's a link to the thread.
Gladys is my grandmother's name .... I have a picture in my head now of her at the dripper.

veiledchameleonyoshi,

If $$$ is tight (like it always seems to be here) and you only have one veiled ... I don't see the need for a misting system.
The dripper will provide water all day.

I have six (and counting) chameleons and I find drippers (filled in the morning and again when I get home from work, for a total of about 5 hours dripping time) provide all the water they need. Unless your ambient humidity is really low or you're away a lot, no need for an expensive misting system.

OOps, Agnes. LOL

I was using Habba mist for a panther in a 120cm flexarium, and I was very happy with. I have a very low % humidity so I added an humidifier and I was using this combo for more than 1 year.
Now, I moved to a 2x3m terrarium and of course I needed a better misting system and I removed the humidifier, dont need it anymore (also I dont recommended it) but I keep using the Habba for the juveniles.
If your cage is not so big, and for a veiled, if you can get a good deal on Habba and feel better with a misting system, can be the solution.

If you look in my signature I have a Do It Yourself mister you can build. The one I built in the DIY is for sale if you follow the links. This took me about 30 minutes to build once I was home.
