Misting System for Veiled Cham

Just got my mistking. I had my Monsoon for just over two months and came home to a flood. For about the same money I got my new system and when I saw the pump I could not believe my eyes ! It works great so far. I hope you have better luck with your Monsoon.

He means that he has a powerstrip timer that turns the Monsoon off at night while the Cham sleeps. The powerstrip timer put power back to the Monsoon in the morning and then it runs the Monsoon's timer/cycle as normal during the day.

I have the same set-up on my ExoTerra for my Geckos and its been great for the past 6 months (just dont let it run dry).. I have to admit that the luxury of not having to worry about misting is great (especially going from hand misting).

Here is mine. I also find that it produces the best "mist" when using less nozzles. If you are going to be running more than 2 nozzles i'd say invest in a a system with a better/more powerful pump like AquaZamp or MistKing

just a correction, my timer goes by increments of 15 minutes for a total of 96 on/offs capable not just "2", not just on in the morning and off at night... my wall timer turns on; then my mister runs its cycle, then the wall timer turns off after 15 minutes, and it does this multiple times thruout the day, then yes off at night.... so even if the mister got stuck on for some reason it wouldnt be drained by the time i figured it out and flood everything...

personally if i ever have a issue with this mister, although i dont forsee one, ill build a mist system myself very similar to my aeroponics system i build for cloning, its the same basic setup, and itll be cheaper then a mistking and alot more powerful if needed... and i preffer my misters in my aeroponics system i built anyway they revolve like a out door sprinkler id only need one per cham enclosure...

thats the good thing about building it yourself if you had alot of enclosures you wanted to cover with one pump, such as my aeroponics pump is 200lph "massive" but i could go anywhere from 150lph to 500lph, i just didnt feel like building another misting system so i went lazy and bought the monsoon, haha, and have loved it so far for a single enclosure combine with a good wall timer it has proven to be quite a nice piece...
