misting schedule

hello everyone,its been awhile.i just got a mistking and was wondering about a starting point for misting times.i live in chicago and have forced air heating .its very low humidity in my house.anyone misting at night too? thanx

I do not mist at night. Last misting is 2 hours before bedtime.

i live in chicago too, right now i mist 2 minutes an hour after lights on. 5 minutes middle of day and 2 minutes one hour before lights out. So far it seems to be working good. I have the advantage of having a humidifier hooked up to my furnace and my cham is in basement. Humidity in cage stays at a minimum of 60% between mistings.

For what species or chameleon? All require different amounts of water and humidity

No young don't need more humidity, mine is set 5 times a day, 3 minutes morning, mid day and night two hours before lights out and two misting between them times only for a minute, and do you have live plants in your enclosure? They will help with humidity and no there is no point misting threw the night, your Cham is asleep all it may do is disturb your little fellows sleep
