Misting/Humidity???

I am going to get my first Chameleon soon... I'm currently setting up its enclosure. Should I begin misting to build up the humidity before a Chameleon can go in it?? How often should I mist and should I mist so heavily that water runs down the glass?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Are you using live plants in the enclosure? Is the enclosure a terrarium?

first off welcome. depending on the type of cham you are getting will determine how much misting you are going to need.
but i would set the tank up like you say and yes build the humidty before you puttin your cham in would be great.
you will need to mist a few times a day as cham drink from the drops and you will want to keep the humidity up.
where you live will also effect how often you need to mist
as well as other things like mentioned above
