Hi I got the habba mid yesterday and it sPrays at intervals of 1 hour 3 hr 6hr 12hr for 15 seconds 30sec 45 sec 60 sec what should I Put it on for a. Veiled chameleon (juvenile) in a glass terrarium that is 12" across and 18" up?

First of all you might not like what I am going to say but that is a very tiny enclosure for a juvenile chameleon and he/she should be in something larger than that. Being a terraium, what are you doing for drainage? If your chameleon was housed in a large screen cage with proper drainage I would have the mister go off like 3 times a day for like 3-4 minutes, but I don't know if that will flood out your terrarium.

It will flood it! I would hand mist for 1-2min every 3 times a day. If you have a dripper make sure you have a bowl that the water can drip to. If you dont it will flood out your chameleon!

*started off with a glass terrarium and it didnt work out as expected so sold it and built my little girl her grown up cage, but thats how I did it when she was in it*

Just make sure you transfer her cham to a bigger cage!

I figured that much. I just think 1 foot by 1 foot by 1 1/2 feet is just WAY too small. They need room to climb around.

I have not had any luck with the 12x12x18 glass enclosures and cham's. I will just leave it at that :( A gecko or something that does not need alot of humidity may get put in mine. /shrug

I also never had luck with the habbimister. 1st one leaked at the reservoir and 2nd one did the same... i just took my money and ran!

Wouldn't relly on that mister, I had one an it was rubbish, it was load Nd broke after a couple of months, just hand mist and also ad a dripper and get a bigger viv! You won't have enought room for the temp to decrease towards the bottom so the Cham will over heat

Yea on accident but what should I put the timing settings on?

You need to adjust the settings based on the tank humidity, so you'll need to experiment. What might work for you in your particular room may not work for someone else. Get your tank setup the way you want it and try the settings you have. Make sure you can monitor the tank humidity correctly. If the settings you have keep it too humid or too dry, adjust them.
