Forgive me for any typo's that you might see in this post. I'm currently posting from my phone.
So I've pretty much completely set up my 6 month old Veileds cage. The temps are great, but I still need to add my hydrometer and mister. Before I tore my cage apart I wanted to ask you guys a question. I'm wondering if I'm going to need to cut a hole in the screen to run my Monsoon mister through. Is there a way to set it on top of my LLL cage? If I can avoid a hole or two that would be wonderful. I'm pretty sure in thr future, I will have one nozzle in his cage, and the other in a new Cham cage. So I don't want to have an extra hole that crickets can escape through. I don't know if this particular cage would rust. I'm pretty sure it has enough power to not pool up on the top of the screen.
So basically.. do I need to cut a hole for the mister? And if so how do I go about that? What is the best method/tool to cut the hole?
And if I don't need to cut a hole.. how would I set it up securely on top of the cage? Would I run the risk of rust or pooling with an LLL screen cage? Any answers would help. I would rather avoid cutting a hole, but I'll do what's better for him. I've been thinking about only setting up one mister nozzle and putting the other in a bucket. So that would be one less thing I need to worry about in the future.
