Mist systems, drip systems, spray bottles

Have a question on watering systems. After reading through some stuff it looks like if you use a drip system you need to also either use a spray bottle or a mister for the chameleon (or did I miss read something?). If this is the case would it just be best to set up an automatic mist system for the cage so that the chameleon can get water and keep up the right humidity in the cage all day?

I am also a college student and some days I spend a lot of time on campus and may not be able to get home in the middle of the day to spray/mist.

I've read through a bunch of stuff and haven't been able to get a super clear answer so if someone could sum it up for me that would be great.

if you use a dripper you DO need to mist to keep humidity up. And if you use an automatic misting system you need to make sure it is on long enough so large water droplets form on the leaves. for example if you use a misting system then have it set for every 3 or 4 hours for 45 sec to 1 minute misting session
