just got my mist king all set up, and when i turned it on no water came out...i didnt let it run too long...maybe 20 sec, because i didnt want to damage the pump....help please!

The pump can run dry. So no fear there. It can take awhile for the water to circulate at first and get all the air bubbles out. Leave it on for a bit and see if it comes on. How did you connect it all together?

You cant hurt that pump.Pull the line off next to the pump and squirt some water in there.put it back together,Take the misting head off, and plug it in. Once it squirts water put it back together. you'll be fine:D

ok, the zipdrip piece is getting hot also while its running...any reason for that and is it a problem?

Hmmm, ive never felt the zipdrip? You might make sure its all connected in the correct sequence:
Resevior
Zipdrip
nozzles
back to resivior

Im not useing the zipdrip. maybe they get warm while there engaged and and cool off when there off. like most anything that plugs in shoot marty an e-mail or PM him here on the forums

The zipdrip should only engage when the system shuts off, and only for a quick second. It just sucks the water out of the line real fast. You can usually hear it. If it heating up, you may have the wiring wrong! That could be bad...

ok thanks, i had two of the tubes in the wrong place...how long does it take to prime, im so anxious to see it mist haha

Mine, under 30sec. so somewhere around there. It may spit and spatter a bit till the air bubbles get cleared out. But then it will turn on and off real smooth like;)

EDIT: Depending on how much line you have ran, it could take a little longer.

Well, the cord coming out of the power pack black box thing, "T's" off, and goes to the zipdrip, and the pump:rolleyes: If thats helpfull. I cant remember how it came and what exactly was already connected, and what you have to connect.

thanks a lot...i think its almost impossible to wire it wrong...zipdrip came pre wired and the connectors from power to pump won't fit into each other unless they're in the correct place...i'll have to wait until tomorrow and talk to Marty about this..:/
