Hello was wondering how everyone using the mistking systems have there timer setup? How often do you have coming on and how many seconds/minutes would be good? I set mine up a couple weeks ago but not sure I have it setup correctly for time amount. Thanks

What works for one person might not work for you. It depends on your climate, do you use AC/Heating, is the cage near a draft, etc etc?

You want to play around with this to get it right.... the basic rule I follow is....saturate the environment until substantial droplets form on the leaves and/or screening. Leave it and let it dry. Once it's dry, LET IT REMAIN DRY FOR 1-3 HOURS. Spray, repeat. The idea here is to strike a balance between watering and drying.

I also find that over-misting is a significant source of health problems for most people, so be sure to do it right. http://reptiles.guru/chameleon/chameleon-overcare/

For average indoor use, you can do anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes I find is sufficient. Drying period of 2-3 hours seems to do the trick but this can vary wildly depending on your climate. Outdoor spraying can last several minutes or more - many people who keep their chams outdoors will mist for 20 minutes. Of course, outdoor airflow is hard to mimic indoors, which is why a lesser time is recommended.
