Wheres it leaking at? on the seal to the tub? or where the 1/4" line goes in? I had to silicone in my bulkhead where it met my trash and my reservoir is 32 gallons so its got a good bit of pressure on it.

Where the line goes in Todd
What did you cut your tubing with? Make sure there are no burrs and that you didn't pinch the line before you put it in. It also has to be a square cut. They have the same kinda deal at Home Depot or Lowes if yours continues to fail.

See ya,

You are more likely to get leaks if you use a round bucket, since the bulkhead doesn't sit flat.
I don't use a bulkhead anymore. I just run the tube through a hole near or at the top of the bucket and run it to the bottom. No worries about leaks after I did that (except for the occassional connector working loose in one of my nozzles).

Thanks Todd ! Did you see my video of my little guy eating a mantid ?

Not a problem!

I did see that video, I am waiting on a couple ooths to go ahead and hatch. They are from a female I collected last fall and she laid them in my kitchen haha!

See ya,

try taking the tubing out and pushing it back in. mine felt like it was in all the way but it wasnt.. which causes a leak..

is the bulk head on tight enough (rubber gasket should be slightly compressed from tightening) ?

yeah i just set mine up a few days ago and the same thing was happening to me.. I had to push the tubing in farther than i thought the first time around and the leaking stopped for me.. sorry i don't know what else it could be..

marty from mistking is a forum memeber, you could try PMing him
