"Missing" spikes

Hello, not sure how serious this is or not. I've recently(last week) bought a male panther chameleon around 3.5/4 months old. I noticed since the day i received him that some spikes are missing from his back. No burn marks just missing spikes. One looks like its cut(3rd spike from the head down) and 2 missing, i circled the areas where they're located. Will they ever grow in time, or is it just birth defect? He hasn't shed yet since i got him. Thanks

Nothing Grows back in a chameleon
There are rwo possibilities only
1. Itnis simoy an irrevularity which is absokutely normal
2. The conical sxales of the dorsal crest were lost as a result of an injury

Based in rhe ohoto wuality yiu provided, the distinction between 1 and 2 is impossible
As It has zero influence on his life, I would close rhis thread and relax, no reason to panic
