missing nails

my Jackson chameleon broke off his nails on one of his back legs a month or so ago and it hasn't grown back should i be worried that its not growing back he can still climb normally

Hi, sad to say I hear nails don't grow back. Its a common problem. The screen panthers need for ventilation pulls the nails out when the nail grows along with the panthers. I wish someone would make a more open screen.

There are safer screens, though they are not necessarily safer for the lights. Mesh is often used for nail safety, however from what I understand you can't put lights on the actual mesh part .__.
