Hi everyone, I've never posted before, but I have enjoyed reading the posts and gotten some really good info. Now I have a question I hope someone can help with. I have a male veiled (Milo) who is 6 months old and has outgrown his first enclosure. I got the 24x24x48 aluminum screen cage from zoo-med and now have no idea where to get driftwood or something similar that is big enough. I saw some driftwood on ebay, but dont know if thats a good idea or not. Thanx in advance:eek:

Welcome to the forum :)
in case you havent found these, we give these to new owners:

now onto the task at hand! driftwood can work for Milo's enclosure, basically what you should do with anything you buy or find for the enclosure you should wash with water and soap and rinse really really well. some people say to bake the wood in the oven for about 30 mins at 400 degrees if you found it outside to kill any bugs. grape vine is a common wood used in cham enclosures, maybe something to check out. its always a good idea to check if you find a stick outside you want to use that it doesnt contain oils that are toxic to your chams.
hope this helps!!
oh and we would love to see some pics of Milo!!!

I would avoid large driftwood pieces but that is me. i say to get lots of vines different diameters and a couple of live plants. :D

Thanx for the info, glad I didnt bid on that driftwood:D. My son has grapevines growing in his backyard so I know what Im doing tomorrow:D:D. Thank you for the links, tons of good things to know. As for pics, I'm kind of computer challanged but hopefully can figure out how to post some.

vines and live plants are awesome i agree! the live plants help keep humidity up which is nice in screen enclosures, gives lots of hiding places and security. the vines gives lots of ways to run around and play! bamboo sticks are nice for horizontal pathways too :)
