Milly is really liking her new arrangment. I think it came out really well. She has space to hide and hang with her tail. She is very active and loves human interaction. Husband is working on her drip system that is easier than refilling a cup again and again. Once that is finished she should be all set. She loves eating her worms out of her bowl. Her new setup allows her to walk above her bowl and drop hang to get her snacks. As she grows more I will remove some of the decore and my husband will build her a larger cage for her adult size. Here is a few pictures I just took of her relaxing and having her snack.

That substrate needs removing ASAP its causes more problems than its worth and also you could do with a few more horizontal branches for climbing and I'd also consider changing vivs as the glass arnt suitable for chameleons as they overheat, generate mold and hold all the water from misting and that soil will start to stink an possibly cause breathing problems for your chameleon

I've just noticed you satin tour husband will be building a larger Viv so that's ok the exoterra will be ok for now but remove the soil, it's also possible to become impacted if she misses her food and brings soil back it may kill her

thanks

We will be replacing the subtrate with the green matting tomorrow. What is strange is Milly wont eat anything that is not in the bowl. She only eats in it for some reason. When we feed her crickets she comes to the door with her front feet out. I place her cricket container at the door and she picks the ones she wants out then backs up and gets her drink of water. Milly doesntt seem to mind the glass walls. Have not seen any aggression when she is near her walls. She is a very mellow chameleon. For her ventalation. The top is screened and the bottom of the doors are vented. We are managing her temps and humidity well. We make sure that drip water is caught by a container or lead the drips to the live plant. This setup is a temp till my husband can build a big one. But for now she is healthy and happy.
