Metal screen sewing?

Hey dont know if this belongs here or not, but just wondering what would be the best thing to sew metal screen together? I bought a rack and have decided to turn it into a new cage for ozzy. Heres a few pictures with a few live plants inside( have yet to add the fake)

It might be easier to use a piece of wood, like a 1x2 and staple the screen to it. You could even paint the wood black to match the rack. You could attach the wood to the rack with a screws and washers.

Can't you get some kind of plastic/nylon screen?

You can also use zip ties to attach it.

Make window screen panels, screw to rack.

Thanks everyone i ended up finding some hog ring (dont know if thats really what there called thats what i call them at work) and basically they went around the small metal bars and held my screen together quite well ill update with some pictures later to see what you guys think. Thanks again!
