Mesh enclosure/feeding advice

Hi,I recently transferred my Yemen baby from a glass terra with mesh top to a terra with mesh all around
Is this better for her?
I wasn't sure how to get it humid?
I brought some brown stuff (name of its gone) from a reptile shop you soak it and it keeps it moist, will this do?
I spray her 3 sometimes 4 times a day, her temp is 26-30 Celsius if more it switches off,
I let her eat from the container for size 2 brown crickets, I have been putting some on the leaves (4/5 a go) and she loves to hunt them, shall I move up to siZe 1 locusts? She is 4/5 months old

Do you have a humidity gauge? If so what does it say? If not may want to invest in one.
Live plants help with humidity and so does covering up a side or two of the cage with some sort of plastic sheet. Like a trash bag or a tarp.

By "brown stuff" do you mean cage substrate or bedding spread in the bottom of the cage? Be careful...if you free range your crickets they will eventually hide in the substrate. If you cham goes to the bottom of the cage to hunt them there's always a chance that your cham picks up pieces of substrate on its tongue and swallows it. Too much can block an intestine. You could lay a piece of window screen on top of the substrate. Also, the substrate can eventually get nasty with poop, urates, and mold from staying too wet every day. Most keepers don't use any substrate. Simple paper towels can absorb and release moisture and are easy to change when they get dirty.

Hi it's a coco brick, I havent put it in yet, as wasn't 100% on it.
Her Hygrometer says its humid (blue zone)
She is my first chameleon so want to do things right I put some black bags on two sides but now can't work out her temperature
My habistat says its 29 Celsius but my viv thermometer says 22 degrees
What one do I read?
I have even put them next to each other but never the same temperature

I don't know which of your thermometer readings is correct. I suppose you could test them on something you KNOW the temp of. Maybe take them to a pet supply place to see if they can check them against an accurate temp gun for you?

Fill the cage with live potted plants. That will help with humidity.
