I have a female C.H. melleri that just layed her first clutch of infertile eggs a couple months ago...Her cagemate is about the same age as she is, but a little larger with a dark Army green daytime color.
My question was, what behavioral displays would be typical if her cagemate was a male?
Also, since I reintroduced them to eachother after the egg laying, the female seems to be a bit more timid and shy...Is this behavior more typical with melleri of the same sex, or opposite sex?
Thanks
