It's time to start a new thread - so I think you know what that means.....:D:D:D (plus there were more than 2,000 views on the other one so....)

THE FIRST EGG HAS PIPPED!! WOO HOO!!! (did you guys hear me screaming??) I don't see any nose yet, so it must have just happened recently. There are 6 others that are sweating, so one more started overnight.

Pictures and updates to come. I just don't want to open any of the containers. I finally have some good condensation going and I don't want to disturb anything. I am, however, going to have to get in there by day's end to "rescue" a couple of them that more or less went down hill in the last couple days, but those were ones that I already thought weren't going to make it. So far, there are still 49-50 viable. :D

good luck, hopefully a nice weekend for you, sure you're anxious to see them go, calm jaja

That was the longest labor in cham history as far as I know :D . Way to go! BTW I just gave this thread 5 stars

Woo hoo!!!!! I knew it was going to be today! Congrats! I am so happy for you! I voted 5 stars to haha :) good luck

Just thought i would add a little more. Julie you are one lucky lady and i wish you the best with your eggs and babies. I cant wait to see pics and i really am jumping all over the place and getting inpatient. I am in Bulgaria now and me and my dad are waiting for you to update once again:) Thanks again and good luck;)

As a chameleonoobie, like my name says, after reading through the other thread I decided I couldn’t take that pressure!! Forget it! (j/k) I think your posts were a lot more accurate description on “hatching chameleon eggs” than any article I’ve read so far, which usually fail to capture the emotional part! It must be exponentially more rewarding to see the little ones too. O.k., I’m back in. Congratulations.

Yippee!

Congratulations on this new development! This news was the best possible way for me to start my Saturday morning. Forget reality TV......we have the Chams1 Melleri Egg and Neonate Show :p :p :p

This is a show I will stay tuned to!

I guess you can tell that we are just as psyched as you are!! I hope one day that I will get to experience the joy, pain, excruciating wait and eventual Melleri baby hatching - So far though, Asmar and Dayo are showing now signs of being in LOVE! Well, it's nice to get to enjoy yours. Can't wait for pics!!
